Ripples - Doctor Who/Phoenix Wright

sushigal007.livejournal.comi had the strangest dream last night, and i CAN'T get it out of my head. so here goes.
phoenix shoots himself with a magical gun and goes back into the past in order to save edgeworth from angst. WELL, he comes back to the present only to find the new edgeworth ain't so great and figures out the old edgeworth was perfect the way he was and shoots himself again to undo what he did.
i have been thinking about this ALL DAY, but unfortunately i forgot the details hur hur. i'd love to see anon's take on it. <33 make it sappy, angsty, crack-y, it's all good!
Inspired by this prompt. When Phoenix Wright enters a mysterious police box while looking for a torch, he prevents DL-6 from ever happening. And consequentially mucks up the future.
