Christmas presents!
Dec. 16th, 2011 11:29 pm
Hi there everyone! Enjoying December? Done all your gift shopping? No, me neither. But I do have virtual presents!
First is more flags. (You can find the old flags, plus previews, here.) In my game, there's three sets of pictures I tend to stick to when making recolours - the Bon Voyage travel posters, plain posters pinned or taped to the wall, and the Grilled Cheese and Pineapple ones. The Bon Voyage and plain posters were all available in landscape, portrait and square, but there was no horizontal mesh that I knew of that matched the pineapple and cheese.
Until now. There I was, surfing around, looking for stuff, when I found this mesh. PERFECT. And so I remade those 50 flag posters as recolours for it.

Grab them from the links below! Mesh is included for your convenience.

Next is Chibitalia. Nuff said. :D

OK, so that's not nuff said, here's some actual information. The version I have here is my male Italy, aged down. Yes, that dress is enabled for boys. However, it's also enabled for girls, in case you wanted a female Chibitalia. It's an edit of fakepeeps handkerchief dresses which I love to bits, just with bare legs and puffier sleeves. You can have both dresses in the game, it will not affect fakepeeps' ones at all.
The bandana was originally attatched to some hair in the Kitchen and Bathroom stuff pack, I just detatched it and used a texture I found on Garden Of Shadows. It's available for both boys and girls, but the girls version is slightly bigger - this is because a lot of the girl hairs are bigger than the boy hairs and I wanted it to look good on as many as possible. Sadly it will clip into very big hair. There is nothing I can do about this, it's one of the big problems with hats in the game. It was a pain to recolour though, as it takes the glasses frames colour as a base, and has some weird lighting and texturing going on. At one point I accidentally turned it pink, another time it turned itself inside out. It's all working now though. Hopefully.
Two lots of files for you, as usual, the RAR file contains a Sims2Pack and the accessory mesh. The ZIP file contains the unpacked files. Pop them in Downloads and you'll find Chibitalia in the male child section on CAS. Enjoy!

Oh, and as a bonus, I've included some recolours of the dress for Romano. ^^ There doesn't seem to be much agreement on what colour he wears, so there's an orangey colour and a pale blue. They're all for boys or girls, so have fun!

Romano: Merry Christmas. ASSHOLE.

Date: 2011-12-29 10:01 am (UTC)ETA: I've just had a look at in in Bodyshop, making sure the recolour and the mesh were the only bits of CC loaded and it's looking fine on my end. Do you mind if I ask what expansions and stuff packs you have? In the meantime, I'm going to ask on MTS if anyone knows what might be going on.

Date: 2012-05-25 07:46 am (UTC)For sims2pack files, double-clicking them should open the default installer (but Clean Installer (http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/) is MUCH better for installing stuff) and then just click install. :)Hope that helps.
