Time for Part Two of World is Mine, a Become One With Russia challenge. Lurking in the neighbourhood are 31 35 nations. How many can Russia persuade to move in before he dies?

Last time, Russia met sixteen sims by lurking on chatrooms and community lots. China and Britannia were slightly confused about what it means to become one with Russia, but by the end of the update the number of sims in the household had increased to four.




So with China and Taiwan both at work, Russia and Britannia had the house to themselves. Of course, the first thing they did was hunt down a spare bed to celebrate.


Note the want next to that one. Sorry, Russia, you gotta pick just one! That's even assuming I let you get engaged.

Taiwan: Who's awesome? I'm awesome! Oh yeah!


Russia: Oh btw, while you were out, I asked this guy you don't know to move in.
She doesn't seem fazed though.


Taiwan: So... you're a warlock? What spells do you know?
Britannia: Oh loads. But if I told you, I'd have to erase your memory and chase you off the lot with bees.


Anyway, I had a look in his inventory to see if he had the spellbook and cauldron and found a fishtank. Out it came to be admired.
Britannia: *admires*



Now that Britannia's all moved in, Russia gets to work his next target, South Italy.


Welcome to the household, South Italy.


Moving in is hungry work.


Taiwan lurks, unsure what to make of this new addition to the household.


China: So, music. Music is good, yes?
Yeah, but not while someone's trying to sleep.


Anyway, while renovating the house with Britannia's moving in money, I brought a ballet barre. Well, there was no room for a pool or any big machine and it's always good to stay in shape. Everyone loves it. Britannia spent all day on it while China stood there patiently, waiting his turn.
China: I'll get that barre, just like I got his boyfriend.


And Russia invites Latvia over to increase their relationship score.


Best friends!


And Latvia becomes housemate number six!


OH SHIT RUN TAIWAN RUN!


DAMMIT!


You don't wanna annoy your co-workers while they're working.


Ugh. Maybe you do. I suck at chance cards. :(


The demotion means that Taiwan is sent home in disgrace.


...And somehow, she remains unfazed.
Taiwan: OK, yeah, I got demoted, but OH MY GOD IT WAS EPIC! I mean, I got chased by men in black and helicopters!
OK, I gotta admit, it is a kind of awesome way to go down.


Russia invite Belarus over. I want her in here so I can fix that bow. I don't know what's wrong with it, the mesh is fixed. I guess it's reading her original SavedSim data.


Anyway, they're friends now.


And she jumps at the chance to become housemate number seven.


With her bow all fixed, she relaxes on the bed. South Italy is unimpressed.


Well, that's quite a few nations moved in, but Russia needs to meet the rest now. I send him off to the Kiddy Castle place that was full of nations last time he visited.


And the lot provides once again! Hi there, Turkey!

Then no-one else showed up so I sent him home to sleep.


Taiwan spent hours pulling faces at the fish.


With seven sims in the house, the food stock go down fast. I think they're gonna need a bigger fridge.

Poor Latvia had nightmares about Poland. I dunno if it's because his fun was low, or if it was low because of the nightmares. I didn't even know he knew Poland! Aww.


Belarus loves the ballet barre too.

Anyway, Taiwan's outfit was annoying me. I'm sure it's not what I originally dressed her up in, but I went searching for qipao's and cheongsams and found something I thought might work for her until I got round to making a recolour.


I don't have the faintest idea what went wrong. (Actually I do, since originally typing this up a few days ago, I found out my graphics were set too low.)


This will have to do for now.


I forgot to buy a bigger dining table when I decorated so everyone is crowded around this tiny thing.


Then Latvia and Britannia have an argument.
Britannia: Of course I can practise medicine! I've played Trauma Center!


To reassure Latvia that Poland is fine, Russia invites him over.



And that's housemate number eight! Technically the lot is full now, so the next one will tell me if the hack works, or if I'm going to have to kill everyone to make space.


Russia gets his fun up by watching TV.
Belarus: This is boring. Why is he sparkling and not bursting into flames? What's with the baseball? Why doesn't he just eat her?
Good questions, Belarus. Why indeed?


Upstairs, Britannia continues to argue with the housemates.


Now his fun's all up, I send Russia back out again in the hope that the community lot will provide again. And look! It's an England!


I think they'd already met online, so it doesn't take long for the relationship to develop.


Ah. I should've realised that would happen. England and Britannia have almost identical personalities and aspirations, seeing as they're supposed to be the same person. Should be interesting to see how they react to each other.


I love this lot. :D America! Fuck yeah!


He thinks Russia is hilarious.


And there's Estonia.


And Greece too. Oh, and who's this charming fellow standing in front of Greece?


Unsavory Charleton: Why hello there, old chap. I'm just a charming townie, passing through. Nothing to worry about.


Unsavory Charleton: I say! What a simply smashing scarf you have! May I take a closer look?
Russia: Um, you're creepy. And that's saying something, coming from me.


Unsavory Charleton: Why, look at the time! Must dash!
Russia: What? Hey! My wallet! OH NO YOU DIDN'T!



And then they had fisticuffs. :D I'd never had a sim get pickpocketed before and I was greatly amused that 'fisticuffs!' was the only option. Sadly Russia lost. He'll have to find time to use the ballet barre before attempting a rematch..



The ordeal sent him into aspiration failure.
Russia: Who's daddy's ickle angel? You are! Yes, you are, ickle flour babby! Coochie coochie coo!

Time to send Russia home, I think.



Back at home, the Britannia angel is still being an enormous douchebag, this time towards Belarus.
Britannia: Your makeup is hideous! Did you put it on in the dark?!
Belarus: Oh and you think you look good?! You couldn't pay me to look like you!
Don't knock it, Belarus. Russia seems to think he's hot.



I spot Hungary walking past and immediately wake Russia up to go harass her. He doesn't even get time to dress, haha,


Nice one, China!


South Italy goes out to jump in puddles in his underwear. Shine on, you crazy diamond.


Hungary: So you're an angel? Can you fly above the rain clouds like planes?


I was getting a bit concerned about Britannia by this point. I knew he was a warlock because it would pop up 'Britannia Hetalia the Warlock' when I hovered the mouse over him, but he showed no other signs of witchiness. No sparkles, no polishing his wand (shut up), no swarms of bees. I wondered if it was because he was neutral. So I made him into an evil warlock. Check out those fab sparkles now.



Russia: Even evil, he's still smokin'!
*cuddles*


Belarus and South Italy have a gossip about Lithuania. That's not very nice, guys.


Lol, those choices. XD


She chose 'whatever.'


Keep dreaming. He's gonna be a witch FOREVER!


Taiwan raids the fridge.


Belarus and Britannia become best friends despite their earlier argument.


Once it gets light out, Russia calls everyone, but it seems they're on to him.


But he eventually gets lucky and invites England over. He doesn't get that lucky though. Despite their best efforts, every double bed is occupied. COCKBLOCKED. Sorry guys. (Not really.)


With eight sims in the house, this will be the moment of truth.

-OOOOoooh. Ahaha! YES! Let's get this party started!

And that rounds up part two! Will Russia gain another sex buddy in England? Will Britannia ever autonomously use his magic skills? Will Taiwan ever get clothes that don't suck? (Probably not.) Was it a really really bad idea to start with a small lot? (Probably.) Should I let Russia get engaged? Continued in part three!

LOVES Taiwan's dress and the look in her face when she's demoted.

Of course Latvia has nightmares about Poland, he's afraid he'll make Lithuania completely forgot about them.

Taiwan is hilarious when she comes home from work. No matter how her day went, it's "praise me, for I went to work today!"
At least Russia did his flourbaby cuddling far away from Belarus so he's probably safe for now. XD And I love Evil Britannia. He doesn't do much magic, sadly, but he does often do a fabulous evil cackle and smirk.

And no, the Italy's aren't siblings. Nobe of my nations are related. And making them unrelated will either be the worst idea I've ever had or the best. XD

If you want to make them unrelated, have you considered getting the InSimenator? () I was going to suggest the Sim Blender as I think it has a few extra options, but it requires Pets or higher. Anyway, both mods allow you to remove family ties for lulz.

And Taiwan is very adorable. XD I love it when they mock the fish. And you are entirely welcome to make an icon of it, or any of the pictures. (That goes for anyone else reading, go nuts!)

Anyway, I tried the challenge -will post it later- and yes, unfortunately, even with the hack, visitors do not look randomly in telescopes. The only way for it to happen is for you to ask them to move in AND THEN get them to look.

Lot Full of Sims also can't work with me. ;A; Anyway, I'll make that Taiwan icon now :D

Bother. Do housemates look on their own, or do you still have to command them? I have a family I tested it on and one girl did look through it and get abducted, but I'm wondering now if it's because I'd already made her look once before and she had a want to meet aliens again.

Housemates randomly look (I dunno about stargaze I dunno. I haven't tried yet cause, most of the time Alfred or Tony is too tired or not in the mood (because they were both pregnant) but, I guess that works. If all things fail, then you can just move them in and move them out to your liking (since, it's not the Russia challenge anyway)

Oh it's the original biggerfamilies. I'll check that out /is being kicked off the computer

I had England properly, autonomously stargaze yesterday, but sadly it was early am and so no aliens. I guess if yours are only looking, autonomous stargazing could be something they added when they changed how the telescope worked for Freetime. But yeah, move them in, see if they do it, then kick 'em out when they get in the way. We may have to allow for one stargazing command in the rules.

I'm trying that bigger families hack myself now as I realised the other one has a limit of 30 which is no good when Russia has 35 targets. It seems to be working. Well, it didn't kill my giant household when I loaded up and Russia managed to get another housemate. :)

This makes me wish I can install Sims again -has lost the cd- Anyway, I'm going for the "part of the challenge is for you to get them to get abducted by becoming their BFFs and moving in and kicking them out" thing. I dunno but it's a lot more work and fun :{D

My internet's wonky so I'll try to download it tomorrow. Right now, photobucket's being a big bitch to me so I can't upload the pics. I'll try to use LJ's own photo album thingy (I just hope they don't autonomously resize it again)

You need a friend with a copy you can borrow. Or unwonky internet so you can download it. :(

I find Photobucket is often temperamental, especially with Firefox, but if I leave it alone long enough, it'll eventually grudgingly upload. My big problem with LJ scrapbook is the randomised filenames. It's very handy to just copy one link and just change the image number. So I only really use it when Photobucket get uppity about sim nudity.

Awww, haha. Well hopefully tonight I'll be able to put up Taiwan for download, so you can have her gurning at fish in your game too! XD Just need to finish staging the preview pic.

But yes, ugh, uploading pictures can be an enormous pain. Lack of space, weird renaming, LJ deciding you're not signed in, resizing, broken links... the list is endless. It's a wonder anyone manages to successfully post a post full of images.
