World Is Mine - Part Seven

Hooray, overdue essay is finally finished, which means it's time for part seven of World is Mine, a Become One With Russia challenge. Lurking in the neighbourhood are lots of nations. How many can Russia persuade to move in before he dies?

Last time, Britannia and England finally resolved their sexual tension in the hot tub. Poland found out that South Italy was boinking North Italy. Hong Kong took to pregnancy badly until Switzerland cheered him up and Russia finally beat the Unsavoury Charleton - only for him to follow him home.


Once moved in, Hungary makes a bee-line for the telescope. She does not attract the attention of the neighbours or the aliens.


Greece has started spending a lot of time with the lamp shade on his head. Barking. I mean, not barking as in barking mad, but actually going 'woof woof' as he dances. Well, I suppose yes, that is barking mad.


Russia invites an America round.


South Italy and Hungary mock the poor, insane pregnant woman. Not nice, guys. She got abducted TWICE in ONE NIGHT. You'd be bonkers too.


What should I do with all this money?! It seems like the past ten sims have brought in megabucks. We could probably afford a helicopter now. Although this lot is tiny and there's nowhere to put it. I'm beginning to regret the tiny lot. There will be a bigger lot soon, I think.


Taiwian: KILL ALL THE THINGS!

Belarus: This hot tub is beginning to feel a bit grubby.
I wonder why. -_-

I couldn't work out what the pop-up meant until I looked outside ad saw these two cuddling under the stars. I'm sad I missed it, I think that action is adorable.


The Unsavoury Charleton says Hi to Brittania. But despite the lack of sparkles (I think they washed off in the tub) he has sensed the greater evil and decided not to go any further.


I didn't realise the fez came off. XD I love that the mask doesn't.


France: Ugh, Britannia gives me tummy-ache. :(




Greece: Who let the dogs out! Woof! Woof woof woof!


Go Poland!


Oh farts. Sadly Turkey doesn't bother fighting to get his money back and hops into the hot tub instead.



Oh Taiwan. Why so sad?
Taiwan: BAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYBEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Yes, Hong Kong has gone into labour!

I had never seen an alien birth before, so LOTS OF PICS. I love how freaked out he looked when the baby was flying around his head, haha.


So! Say hello to Stitch. Named because when I searched for 'Hong Kong alien' on Yahoo, I got lots of results about Disneyland and some sort of Stitch alien thing there. So Stitch it is.


Belarus: Yeah! Babies are awesome!



Hong Kong doesn't seem impressed with his. He plonks it on the floor and Belarus instantly grabs it.

And from the moment she grabbed him, my game started to become slightly peculiar. It seemed all right at first, until about six people peed on the floor and I got a bunch of pop-ups about people missing work. I realised they were all refusing to do anything until they got to hold the baby. Several of them were near dead from hunger. I thought about putting Stitch in a locked room, only allowing Russia entry, but they wouldn't hand him over. They had sensed baby and they weren't giving it up without a fight. In the end I had to exit without saving. I came back to Belarus holding the baby.


Belarus: My babby now.


Hey hey Taiwan, maybe you'll get babies after all!


Greece: Ruff ruff bark!


Russia was still eating, so Estonia nabbed the baby.


Taiwan: I wanted it! I want the baby!
TOUGH.


I gotta admit, the animation of them carefully handing over the baby is super cute.


Wait, what are you dong there Russia? I told you to grab that fucking baby and lock it up!


Russia: BAYBEE!

So, Stitch got locked in a room. Sorry, Stitch. Anyway! I thought it would be fun to send a few sims out to a community lot to see how they behaved, but silly me didn't look at their thumbnails closely and everyone except Italy was at work.


As soon as they reached the love maze, Russia shot off to the photo booth. "I wonder why he's in such a hurry?" I thought.


Wait, who's that I see? Surely you're not going to-


They totally are.


Japan: THAT WAS AWESOME!



And Mrs Crumplebottom didn't come along to break things up.


And look who I spotted just as the taxi pulled up! Happily I managed to get a greeting and a joke in before Russia and Italy headed home.


Hold!


Rats.


Llamas!


It appears my chance card run of luck has well and truly run out.


I've only just noticed that France spends a lot of time on the games console, haha.



Well done guys! And thank you, Poland!


Sim hygiene logic fail.


Belarus now glows whenever she touches the ballet barre or guitar. It's sort of creepy. :/


Move, Austria!


Everyone finally realises that they can't get to Stitch and they all throw a tantrum outside the door. TOUGH TITTIES. If you guys were smarter and actually changed him when he was stinky, I might've considered it. But when you won't hand the smelly baby over to the only person willing to do it? Baby gets locked away.


The Unsavoury Charleton is still hanging around. It seems he's developed a crush on Russia.


Russia invites the other China over, and a wild France appears!



And we end with house mate number twenty-five!

I don't know why the girls aren't getting any lovin', but I think it may be because when I did the Asylum challenge with the Axis and Allies, I then wiped their memories and released them into the neighbourhood. But they must've kept their sexual orientations - all gay - and so can autonomously flirt. And because they're all gay, they flirt with the guys who are new out of CAS and had no orientation and turned them gay too. Yikes, I make it sound like a virus. XD So I need to influence romantic interactions with the ladies so that they can have some fun too.

Thinking about it, there is one straight guy in my game - Austria. But because he was mysteriously married to Hungary, he's all loved up and not all that interested in the others. XD Poor ladies. I may have to change the rules to allow a single romantic interaction to decide sexual orientation because influencing a flirt takes 1000 points and Russia can't get them fast enough. And if one of them wanders off and the other can't complete the action, bam, wasted flirt.

Hmm... I think I'll make it a rule that every sim who moves in then has to check out the first person to walk by. Repairman, firefighter, neighbour who's come to slap someone for telescopinc perving, random walkbys and so on. That way their gender preference is set and it's still all sort of uncontrolled.

I'll do that tonight. ^^ Get 'em all a gender preference before the weekend's out.

I have successfully managed to move them to a bigger house! :D I had to edit the userstartup file to allow more people to be moved and then tested it in my photoshoot neighbourhood. I panicked at first because half the sims in a house seemed to be missing, then I remembered they were only teleported onto the lot, not moved it. So yay, big house. Looking at my folder of pictures, I should be able to reveal it after the next update. But I think it'll be a little longer still before Austria's shenanigans get posted.

It wasn't too difficult. I just made it harder for myself by forgetting who was living in the house. XD Once I knew it worked, it was just move out, move in. I was worried I was going to have to muck about with the teleporter shrub for ages.

Now they have all the room they need to hook up bond and make friends!

Hee, I went and had a look for every item and place that could be woohooed in and put them all in the new house. XD Except for the helicopter. I forgot to add that one. And the sauna. There's been lots of er, friendly bonding in the photobooth in particular.

Well, thanks to the butler, the maid, the repairwoman and two random townies, a few sims who had zero chemistry for anyone are now feeling the first stirrings of desire. And there's another pair of three-bolters, which should be entertaining. ^^

On a very down side, my computer threw a blue screen of death at me so I think I'll have to stop there for the night. And I still had sims who needed chemistry. :( On the bright side, it's been doing that for a few days now so I've got into the habit of saving every time something important happens. So I'm pretty sure I haven't lost much other than giving Russia the command to open a home business as soon as he wakes up.

It happens to me a lot u_u once, I spent 3hours building a house and making it all pretty and stuff.. and right when I clicked to play with the family, BAM. All blue and black and yay it restarted my computer... -sighs-

Ugh, three hours work gone? I think I'd cry. I lost I think maybe 20 minutes of gameplay - I already saved every time someone moved in after the helicopter glitch and happily I'd recently nabbed someone, then Belarus got abducted and BLUE SCREEN. So now it's never happened. So now any fight, any sex, any birthdays, any house modifications, anything interesting - save. I wish I knew why it was doing it. Silly PC.

I think I did cry?
All I know is that I said a looooooooot of bad words. XD;;
I never knew why my computer suddenly stopped working in the middle of a game... apparently it was because of my game itself... after I deleted everything, and installed it all again with my friend's Sims2 copy, it all worked perfectly.
D: but yeah, I could not even leave the house. u_u everytime I wanted to go to a community lot, I got blue screen-ed. >

Well, the message says it's a USB driver problem, but 1, none of my USB drivers are being used when it happens and 2, I checked the drivers and it still did it. It only seems to do it when Russia's house in Sims has been running for a while, so I'm having the nasty suspicion my computer is struggling to cope with everyone at once.

Yes! It worked perfectly fine, I installed all my other sims2 thingies and packs, and life was awesome! ;w;
But then I got the sims3, and installed it on my cousin's computer (mine's too old) and uninstalled the sims2.
What a great mistake. Cousin is gone, and I can't play the sims2 anymore.
Sigh.

Mmh. I suppose this is it >< your computer must have troubles dealing with all these sims at once...

Aww, no sims at all?! Boo. Mine's too old for TS3 too, although the blue screen issue has made me start seriously thinking about saving up a newer shiny one. I'm going to play with the graphics settings first and see if I can find something between dead computer and Taiwan's dress going peculiar.

Well, I lowered the graphics settings a bit, and also made it full screen instead of windowed mode and so far, it seems to be behaving. I still save lots, just in case, but I haven't had any more blue screens.

Well hopefully I'll be able to show you how the household is doing in the next hour or two. :) But they're all still bonkers. Half the children grew up badly, half the adults have frostbite and everybody has either a cold or the flu. But they also all have chemistry, which is fun. ^^

Why not make Russia start a Home business or something? I don't really know. I haven't done it yet. All I know is that more people go to your house so, the chances of an APH sim showing up would be pretty high :D

Also, I kinda found it funny that Taiwan is crying due to lack of babies when there is a painting of an octopus behind her ;D

Home business? Hey, that's a pretty good idea! I've had Open For Business for ages and never actually attempted any kind of business. I think I'll start by selling all the crap the new house mates have in their inventories.

Taiwan's pouty face is all kinds of adorable. But so sad. I have to find her a boyfriend or girlfriend or alien sperm donor soon!

A tower would be laggy, I think. :( Although their new place is getting pretty tall. I love their new place, I'm dying to show it off. :D

Oh gosh, I almost feel sorry for France in that situation. I can see England threatening him with Spotted Dick and France being delighted until he realises he's getting sponge pudding and not... er, well.
