World Is Mine - Part Eleven
Jul. 26th, 2011 11:50 pm
Hi there and welcome to part eleven of World is Mine, a Become One With Russia challenge. Lurking in the neighbourhood are lots of nations. How many can Russia persuade to move in before he dies?
Last time, blue screen issues meant that Estonia gave birth three times, once to twins, one single birth. Poland and Switzerland slept together twice, Russia grew old twice and Belarus got abducted by aliens, only not.

So, blue screen happened just as Belarus was abducted, which means the telescope is primed for another abduction. Today's lucky victim? Lithuania. Bye!

I vaguely remember that sliding was a bad idea last time.

Much better. :D

Poland and Prussia rematch. Or is it their first fight? Either way, Prussia wins.

America: That was so awesome!
Prussia: Yeah, I was-
America: Not you!

There are plenty of beds, I promise.

America: Go ask daddy to bring Liet back!

Wait, what, wait, when did that happen? I guess we've solved the mystery of why 'try for a baby' wasn't showing up. I'm not certain, but I think they managed to grab a speedy shag in the lift during Estonia's labour after all.

Oh for crying out loud.

Sorry France, you're out of luck. Aliens are busy with him right now.
Only not, as it turns out. I still wasn't getting the Try For A Baby pop-up for Russia, so I forced errors on everyone. This had the unfortunate effect of returning Lithuania, unharmed. It also stuck the spaceship, meaning no-one else could be abducted, something I wouldn't find out for several days.
Anyway. More sims had since been added to my game and Russia's list of contacts was looking a little thin. Plus I wanted him to put those nanny graves in a safe place. So I sent him off to the local cemetery.

Oh look, it's Finland! Hi Finland!

And Belgium too, yay!

Vietnam too? This place is getting busier than that children's play centre.

Russia had a want to learn couple's counselling, which would give him something like 2000 influence points. So I made him sit down and study, because I have plans for those points. Belgium was happy to keep him company during his studies.

But then I made him ditch her after spotting this guy.
Canada: I've been here hours. You only just noticed me? You're lucky I decided to stay for the food.

I said yes, but they weren't a nation, so Russia went back to his studying.

Congratulations! I'm sure that'll come in handy at some point. And even if it doesn't, the influence points will.

Back to the house! There are so many sims now that Russia doesn't make the cut. Also, it would appear that NyoRussia's clothes and hair are not pregnancy compatible, which is why we have this imposter there in the middle.

I've decided to try some of the other options on chance cards, just for fun. So instead of usual reaction of 'hide that shit!' I tell France to show her boss what she's doing.

And yay, the boss doesn't mind!

To celebrate, France brings home Netherlands for Russia to chat up.

WOW! Way to go, France! Bear in mind that as she's uncontrollable, I haven't made her do any skilling. This is all her own work. A round of applause to France!

Speaking of France, lets have another one. ;)

I hate this chance card. Hate it. Sadly, none of them bring the tickets home for me to incinerate.

Just look at this pair of lazy slackers. I'm deeply tempted to drop a satellite on their heads.

Let's have another go at showing the boss.

Woohoo!

Oh dear. This looks ominous.

Oooh, sounds interesting. Let's take it.

Whoops.

Giant ro-wait. Wait a second.
*re-reads*
Estonia is Captain Hero?!? Haha, that's awesome! Wait, that's the top of the career track! Congratulations, Estonia!

Thanks for the cash, Captain Hero, we can use it to wallpaper the house or something.

Taiwan is also rocketing up the career ladder.

Stitch: Hey, dad, mum, whatever, hey, look at me!
Hong Kong: Shhh, fishies!

Heeeeey there Igiko, what are you doing? And who with?

Austria! You naughty boy! It's a good thing Hungary is at work. Russia isn't though. England's in trouble.

Oh NOW you're friends?

Austria: What have I done?!
Shagged England in a photobooth. Tut tut.
Austria: Hungary will be furious!
Yup.
Austria: I forgot to take pictures!
...Um, ok.

But he doesn't stay down for long. Double heartfarts for England.

Russia doesn't get round to slapping Igiko for her cheating, so England picks up the slack.
England: Hussy!
Britannia: Hey, come and look at this lamp post! Isn't this the best lamp post you've ever seen?

England: You're one to talk! You had no problem sleeping with the angel while he was still dating Russia!
Britannia: I like trees!

England: Wanker!

England: Pillock!
Britannia: I want a baby, it's not fair, they have babies and all they do is fight. I should steal their babies and THAT WOULD SHOW THEM.
Austria: Am I interrupting?

Britannia: Dear God, please give me a baby. Or aliens. Aliens actually, you've proven yourself to be pretty good at providing that kind of thing.
Austria: Is it hot out here or is it just you?

Taiwan: This is so unfair. Everyone else gets babies when they look through this thing, I just get the old hag across the road.
How can you even see her now? The telescope points out to sea!

Ukraine: Durrr, babies!

There is no point to this screencap other than to show up the fact that I have Doctor Who on sims TV. Now the Doctor can watch the Doctor.

Once again, I let the chimp do it.

Remember those influence points Russia got? :D

That's 1000 points well spent.

Somehow I forgot to get a cake and grow up Stitch, so he grew up all alone. And badly.
Stitch: I hate my life!

Ukraine and Taiwan are making up for lost time.

Hey hey, looks like someone else is up for some fun.

Poland: That was totally super fun.
America: Yay! *glomp*

Heh, well done, Japan.

Oh look, Prussia and Poland are fighting again.

Prussia: Haha, I'm so awesome, I threw you through the table!

Didn't this come up before? I seem to recall the speedboat working out well.

No economic crisis in THIS house.

It's time for the other two babies to grow up! First up is Seven of Nine.

I'm hoping she'll grow into her cheekbones.

We interrupt the party to bring you a fight.

Poland wins! Sadly Prussia seems to be toxic.

Upstairs, the other Russia pops.

Russia: When you're quite finished...

Up goes baby Master...

... And down comes toddler Master. Isn't she pretty?! And we'll end the update there. See you next time!
Hetalia sims moved in: Thirty-two, including children.

Date: 2011-07-27 11:04 pm (UTC)I'm guessing you don't use cheat codes to mess with your Sims motives? For me, I always have boolprop on (sinful!) because otherwise it gets too stressful dealing with six Sims ;P Again, I commend your ability to deal with whiny, needy, brainless Sims!
I have a feeling everyone will become Elders by the time this finishes. ;D

Date: 2011-07-27 11:37 pm (UTC)Nope, no motive cheats. That would be cheating. XD And boolprop only goes on for nannykilling. I am a cruel simgod, my sims must fend for themselves. Although I have started using Insim's motive adjuster on the babies before aging them up, but that's because they're so horribly glitchy. If they happen to fall asleep or poop while you're trying to help with birthday, they refuse to grow up. It can be a bit stressful, but the only thing I really have to worry about is their hunger. Everything else will make them unhappy, but it won't kill them. And thanks to the buffet table (♥), I'm hopeful most of them will make it to the end.

Date: 2011-07-29 07:01 pm (UTC)Though now I want my Sims to make babies. ;w; I think that raising a kid if fun for like... two IRL days and after that I end up thinking, 'Why the hell did I do this...'

Date: 2011-07-29 08:06 pm (UTC)Some of these guys have very pretty offspring, I must say. Although the nannies are doing most of the work in my house. Their parents suck and Russia only occasionally interacts with them to try and bring up their fun enough for them to do homework. I'm gonna try the parenting challenge next, get actually involved with the children. But I also kind of want to work out a breeding challenge of some kind. I think it would be interesting. Oooh... maybe modify the Queen Bee rules... hmm. I like that idea!
