Happy 2013 everyone! Hope you had a great Christmas or whatever and a fab new year. In the last Global Legacy update, Greece got himself turned into a vampire, which made him an even more useless father and husband than he already was. China brought the first of her five businesses and managed to get it to level 5 in between job-hopping and baby-birthin' before the pair of them abandoned their toddler daughter and new baby son for a quick make-or-break holiday after China started getting suspicious about what exactly her husband was doing during his spare time.




Greece: Let me sing you the song of my people!
Mailman: Does it come with smashing plates and fire dances?
Greece: Not unless my wife finds out why that woman's stealing our paper.


China: I knew it! I KNEW WE GOT NEWSPAPERS DELIVERED!
Britannia: You can have it back, I was just checking the obits.


I was beginning to thing my strays weren't spawning properly, but then this kitty showed up to put my mind at rest.


Oh yeah! Last week's challenge was for me to fill the house with elephants. It took me about ten seconds to decide I hated this challenge. Placing them was fine; they only have a one tile footprint, but if you click anywhere near the damn things, you get their pie menu instead of the thing you were aiming for. Trying to click a toilet? Would you like to ride an elephant? Click a bed? Surprise, it's an elephant!
Anyway. Here's Grina, toddling under an elephant. I can't command her to do anything because THERE'S A FUCKING ELEPHANT IN THE WAY.


Greece doesn't care that his daughter could be squished by ten tons of pachyderm, he's busy trying to seduce the mailman.


Estonia: HOW COULD YOU!?
Oops. Perhaps Greece should take this some place else? I know, the Love Motel!


Seychelles: I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON THAT SPECIAL DELIVERY.
Mailman: Ooh, great idea!


Turkey: Hey Greece! I've got a package for you too! IT'S MADE OF FISTS, YOU CHEAT!
Greece: ohgodmyface


Finally they made it to the safety of the bedroom.


Back home, Greece rolled the want to woohoo 5 service sims. I know there's a weird glitch that means vampires are counted as service sims, so I had him call the Countess.
Greece: No, I'm not a vampire any more. No, that's OK, I don't want- well, I guess I could find something for you to nibble if you really want.



And just like that, Greece is serviced and gets his 25th dream date. He's officially half way towards his LTW!



Grina's birthday!


She actually grew up well.


Greece: Want a tip?
Beautiful MaidMan: Yes please.
Greece: Don't stand behind the elephants.


China wanted Grina to get into private school, so she invited the headmaster over. The fridge chose that moment to run out of stuff.


One quick delivery later.


Back at Fine China, the reporter is impressed with the progress that's been made since the last guy showed up.


France: SHE'S WRONG, THIS PLACE SUCKS!


Greece: Zzzz... I know what I'm gonna do tomorrow...


There hasn't been much Cheece so far, but rest assured, he's still around. Sometimes he even gets attention.



America: I see you accepting a free sample OF PENIS!


I lie. America's just mad because Greece is on a date with his wife today.


Happily Seychelles doesn't care, he took out all his aggression on Greece's face back at the Love Motel.

Grina: No fair, there was an elephant in the way! Rematch!
Greece: Sorry, daddy's got things to do.


That's right, he's wooing Kiki Bird, the green matchmaker! Still got three more service sims to fill that want, so I might as well let him work towards his LTW at the same time.


Wait, what? Mixed messages much?


Back home, Cheece grew up. Nobody noticed except the nanny.


I had Greece try dating Kiki Bird again, but once again, she ditched him halfway through. I suddenly remembered that she's an elder, and elders have tiny bladders, so motive desperation was probably the problem. So I decided to let him try again with a different elder.


Hungary: You cheating scumbag!
Greece: I haven't touched him!
Hungary: You're making a total mockery of the private school system!


Whoa, hey, that's not your date.
Greece: You made me leave him alone so he could pee. It's fine, he's old, he'll take forever.


Headmaster: Hello!
Greece: Dammit.
Headmaster: Are you about to have sex with somebody else?
Poland: No way, we were like, totally just talking about the weather.



They didn't actually get any sexing done, but it was still a dream date. 27/50


Turkey randomly broke into the house. I think he was looking for Greece.


Sadly for him, Greece was out. With the nanny.
Germany: GRRRRRR.
Greece: Why do we keep coming back to this place!?


This would be why. Except sadly for Greece, their relationship was too low for the woohoo option to show up.


Even more sadly for Greece, Turkey was still waiting when he got back.
Greece: Holy shit, I can't even escape them at home!



Finally nailed Kiki Bird! She was a tough one to pull. 28/50!



To make up for being a philandering husband, I have Greece work at the second business for a few hours. Problem is, because it's a park, none of the adults want to spend any time there and none of the children show up as customers. I may have to gut it and put a bubble blower there or something.



China: It feels like something's watching us.
Greece: Even better!


Greece: Somebody loves me. :D


Grina got better at games.


She also brought this kid home from school one day. She's a friendly kid.




China works hard and is greatly rewarded for it.




Meanwhile Greece does the gorgeous maid and gets his 29th dream date.



BOO SPOILSPORTS.


Nooooo, I'm not ready for this at all!


MaidMan: Waaaaaait a second, what are you doing? Are you on a date!? With your wife!?
Greece: Yeah, so what if I am?
MaidMan: Why I outta smash these flowers over your head!



Instead he bribed the waiter to drop food on Greece's head instead, which ruined the date.


Whoa, China, it wasn't that bad a date!



Birthday time for Cheece. He grew up adorable. Also I've just noticed he and Grina have these little gaps in their teeth, do all sim children have that? It's kinda cute.


What's not cute is America barging into the house to start fights.
China: It's my son's birthday, jerk! Get out!
America: I just need to punch your husband for cheating on me.
China: WHAT!?


China: That's it! I'm leaving! And I'm taking the kids with me!


Psyche! They're on holiday again, this time at Twiiki Island and China's learning how to hang loose.


Twikki Islander: Not that loose, you'll fall over.



Also it looks like the change of scenery has made Greece re-evaluate his life choices because OMG HE WANTS A JOB YOU GUYS AN ADULT JOB LIKE A REAL ADULT!


Assuming he doesn't die of fright first, of course.


China leans the sea chanty from the ghost captain.


Greece gets his 30th dream date.











Lots of holiday spam.


China needs the voodoo doll from the Witch Doctor to complete all the Twikki memories, so they head over to the Mysterious Hut.


The entire family helps out.



Witch Doctor: Have fun with this.
China: Thanks, I will. A few people need reminding that my husband is married.


Greece remembers, and spends the final day wooing his wife.



In fact the motive boost from dream date 31 means Greece can ask her straight back out on dream date 32.



Then they go home and have dream date 33.


China: I think our next holiday should be a cruise.
I am surprised there isn't a mod for that.


China: This doll should make everyone want to buy stuff.


Considering he didn't even have a job yesterday, Greece is doing pretty damn good.


Perhaps he realised it was his last shot at an adult job.


Homework time for Cheece.


Why hello there, my old nemesis ballet ticket chance card, how nice to see you again.


That's pretty much the best I could've hoped for.


His previous promotion meant he could go straight back to work and get yet another promotion.


Which they're going to need for a building expansion because China is pregnant again.


China: Oooh! What's this!?


It's bees! Enjoy your maternity leave!


Greece's work ethic doesn't even last as long as his sunburn.


Good thing they have China to bring in the $$$$'s.
Finland: I suddenly really really want a fancy knicknack!
China: Don't fight it the urge! A knicknack will totally improve your life!

Sadly my poor menfolk are very neglected in the outerwear department, so almost all of them end up in that dang shirt.
The Love Motel has definitely turned into the Hate Motel, which amuses me no end. XD And I don't think I have any makeup on the kids, unless it's possible for it to be passed down genetically. Anyway, thank you for reading! :D

I've had a few kids with gaps in their teeth as well and others that didn't had any, apparently it's random if they get it.

Gosh, hair? Wow, I'm a sucker for hair (as you can tell) and I get it from all over the place. Garden Of Shadows is one of my top places. Re: the gap teeth, I have a few skins where the child stage has teeth like that. I agree that it's cute, and I actually made a similar blush that could be used by all ages, which is uploaded on a sim I made for Maranatah at TBTO here (http://thebigtradeoff.livejournal.com/13160.html) (Arnie).
