"Her name gives him pain and makes him wear eyeliner and cut himself to My Chemical Romance."
"Rose."
The Doctor curled up into a ball and sobbed, leaving tracks of eyeliner down his face, the sounds of his tears drowned out by music. He lifted a razor blade and watched his blood drip in the candlelight. Then he lowered the blade to his arm and hissed.
"Doctor?"
Before he could hide the evidence, Martha pushed open the door. She took in the scene immediately and sighed in exasperation.
"If hearing her name bothers you that much, stop listening to Kiss From A Rose."
